Ana Bélen Del Cerro Gordo
Belén del Cerro is Aeronautical Engineer by the Polytechnic University of Madrid, specialized in air navigation. She also has a MBA from UNED University and several master degrees in robotics and automation by the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
Belén del Cerro has more than 20 years of experience working for the public and private sector, having worked for several entities in markets such as Aeronautics, Energy, Astronomy and Nuclear Fusion. Since 2007, Belén del Cerro is working for CDTI, the Spanish Innovation Agency under the Ministry of Science and Innovation, developing several tasks. Currently she is the Spanish ILO (Industrial Liaison Officer) for ITER and other fusion related projects such as DONES. She is also one of the national experts for the EURATOM and the Horizon Europe Research Infrastructures Programme Committees. She is also acting as vice-chair of PERIIA (Pan European ILOs network). As ILO, she encourages the Spanish industrial participation in fusion projects such as ITER, monitoring and controlling the return of investment and organizing the flagship industrial event in the Big Science ecosystem: the Big Science Business Forum (BSBF2022).
